Ancestor Revolution: Karmic Vengeance. Protection from Racism Curse
There are workings that call for blessings. There are workings that call for protection.
Then there are the workings that awaken remembrance.
Ancestor Revolution: Karmic Vengeance is the most forbidden rite within the lore of Brannu Hoodoo. It is never offered for jealousy, pride, or personal disputes. It is reserved only for those who have suffered hatred, violence, or persecution because of the color of their skin.
Legend tells of an ancient covenant whispered from generation to generation—a covenant born from tears, chains, prayers, and blood. In this fictional tradition, the oppressed were said to invoke the names of their ancestors against those who believed themselves untouchable. Plantation owners, overseers, and others consumed by hatred were believed to fear these whispered rites more than any visible weapon, convinced that ruin could arrive without warning or explanation.
Because of its gravity, this working cannot be purchased outright. Every request requires a private consultation to determine whether the circumstances truly involve racial hatred, prejudice, or deliberate oppression. If the claim proves false, the rite is refused.
Those who carry the spirit of hatred are said to become known to the ancestors. The vengeance does not strike in a single flash. It arrives like a shadow that refuses to leave. Wealth disappears. Health withers. Doors close without reason. Alliances collapse. Prosperity turns to dust. Misfortune seems to follow every step until even strangers whisper that something ancient has claimed them.
The oldest stories insist that this judgment recognizes bloodlines, but not blindly. It seeks only those who willingly embrace and continue the same spirit of cruelty, prejudice, and hatred. Those who reject that darkness and walk in mercy are believed to be passed over, as though the ancestors themselves distinguish between inherited blood and inherited evil.
Within the legends, this is not considered a curse born of malice. It is remembered as ancestral justice—a force carrying the weight of centuries of suffering, refusing to allow hatred to pass through history without consequence.
Some say every generation leaves an echo.
Others say the ancestors answer.
And when they do, no one mistakes their voice.
